Lyn Morton Photography featured on The Towncast podcast

Flavio and I recording the interview at CR Bakery in Hawthorne.

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was a photographer, and when I got my first camera at age seven, I was hooked. Since then, photography has taken me on quite a journey—from studying photojournalism, to serving as an Army photojournalist, to building a career as a full-time photographer and educator here in North Jersey.

Recently, I had the chance to sit down with Flavio Romeo on The Towncast podcast and reflect on that journey. We discussed the experiences that shaped my approach to photography, the importance of storytelling, the evolution of my business, and why helping people and organizations tell their stories through images continues to inspire me every day.

It's not often that I get to step out from behind the camera and share my own story, so I appreciate Flavio giving me the opportunity to do just that.

I hope you enjoy the conversation. You can watch the full interview below.
